Online Registration Information

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! We have transitioned to an Online Registration Process for returning Val Verde Unified students, completion of the Online Registration directions below will finalize your registration process. 

Online Registration Process for Returning Students: (Opens June 21th- July 23rd)

Step 1: Logging In

Make sure you can log into your AERIES Parent Portal account. You may need to reset password if you cannot log in. 


Step 2: Required Forms (Click Here)

Please sign and upload as a PDF (click here to access the forms):

  • Medical History Form
  • Affidavit of Residency (IF applicable


Please upload one of the following:

  • A copy of a recent utility bill, must be within the last 30 days (water, gas, or electric bill are the only acceptable proof)
  • Mortgage documents with parent/guardian’s name and address
  • Property tax document with parent/guardian’s name and address
  • Military Housing orders with parent/guardian’s name and address


NOTE: If the utilities are not in the parent/guardian’s name, you must fill out and upload the Affidavit of Residency document and include a copy of the homeowner, leaseholder or property owner’s ID or Driver’s License of the person whose name appears the document or bill. 


A staff member will reach out to you if further information is required to complete your student’s 2021-2022 registration. 



Submission of Paper Registration Documents

 for Returning Students


We encourage all parents to utilize our easy online process to upload student documents for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are unable to do so, please complete and drop off REQUIRED FORMS at the school site beginning July 19, 2021.


  1. Update your information online, print the Health/Medical Form (blank copies will be available at the site also), obtain a copy of your student’s Shot Records (7th Grade ONLY) and obtain a copy of your Proof of Residency(blank copies will be available at the site also). Compile the documents, place them in an envelope with the student’s name, D.O.B, parent phone number and email on the front of the envelope 



New to Val Verde USD:

You completed all necessary documentation during your registration at Student Services. Your student will be contacted by a counselor to discuss scheduling. 


Chromebook Insurance:

Our district IT and librarians encourage parents this year to register for Chromebook Insurance using this form. The insurance is $34 for the year. Without this insurance, Chromebook repairs are $50 and a replacement is $200.

The Val Verde Unified School District desires to provide a safe school environment that allows all students equal access to and opportunities in the district's academic, extracurricular, and other educational support programs, services, and activities. Unlawful discrimination, including discriminatory harassment, intimidation, or bullying, may result from physical, verbal, nonverbal, or written conduct based on any of the categories listed above. Unlawful discrimination also occurs when prohibited conduct is so severe, persistent, or pervasive that it affects a student's ability to participate in or benefit from an educational program or activity; creates an intimidating, threatening, hostile, or offensive educational environment; has the effect of substantially or unreasonably interfering with a student's academic performance; or otherwise adversely affects students educational. Unlawful discrimination also includes disparate treatment of students based on one of the categories above with respect to the provision of opportunities to participate in school programs or activities or the provision or receipt of educational benefits or services. The Board also prohibits any form of retaliation against any individual who reports or participates in the reporting of unlawful discrimination, files or participates in the filing of a complaint, or investigates or participates in the investigation of a complaint or report alleging unlawful discrimination. Retaliation complaints shall be investigated and resolved in the same manner as a discrimination complaint. Students who engage in unlawful discrimination, including discriminatory harassment, intimidation, retaliation, or bullying, in violation of law, Board policy, or administrative regulation shall be subject to appropriate consequence or discipline, which may include suspension or expulsion when the behavior is severe or pervasive as defined in Education Code 48900.4. Any employee who permits or engages in prohibited discrimination, including discriminatory harassment, intimidation, retaliation, or bullying, shall be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.
